At The Old Mill Collection, we've always been passionate about creating unique, eco-friendly homeware, and our partnership with Penrhiw Pottery has been a natural extension of that mission. We first met the talented potters at the Bryngwyn Summer Fayre two years ago, and we were instantly captivated by their absolutely positively beautiful products!! Since then, our collaboration has been a wonderful journey of creativity and sustainability, helping us develop products that are as beautiful as they are kind to the environment.
A Shared Vision for Sustainable Craftsmanship
When we first met Anouska & Dave, we were using glass vessels and pre-made ceramic wax melt burner dishes and spoons. While these materials were functional, we knew there was an opportunity to make our products more eco-friendly by sourcing locally and reducing our carbon footprint. Penrhiw Pottery shared our vision and embraced the challenge of working together to create beautiful pottery homeware that not only looked great but aligned perfectly with our sustainable values.
Creating One-of-a-Kind Pottery Pieces
Since we teamed up, we've developed exclusive products that have become customer favourites. Our wooden wax melt burners now feature custom-made pottery wax melt dishes, designed to fit perfectly and enhance the look of the burners. The pottery tealight spoons add a distinctive touch, blending practicality with artistic flair.
We've also introduced pottery candles and diffusers, carefully crafted to complement our wooden pieces while adding a unique pottery aesthetic to our collection. Each item showcases the characteristic beauty of Penrhiw Pottery's work, from their distinctive glazing techniques to the unique textures that give each piece its one-of-a-kind appeal.
